Sponsors are companies that support the Alliance’s work by paying the annual voting member dues and appointing an individual to serve as their representative to the Alliance. The sponsor’s representative is the voting member. These voting member requirements will change from-time-to-time as determined by the board of directors.
Sponsor Membership Dues
Sponsor Member dues are determined by the Board and payable annually. A company is formally a voting member from the date their dues are deposited in the Apdex checking account to one year later.
Benefits
The Apdex Alliance recognizes the support from its Sponsor Members in the following way. These benefits are subject to change.
- Your voting member representative has a direct role in the governance of the Alliance.
- Your company will be listed as an Apdex sponsor including your logo with a link to your website.
- We will add your product or service that supports the Apdex methodology to the Apdex products list. This includes a link to a page on your website which describes the product.
- You will have permission to use the Apdex logo on your website with a statement that says you are an Apdex sponsor. The Apdex logo on your website must have a link to the Apdex website.
- Your company will have the ability to give a presentation at one Apdex webinar in the year. The presentation must be educational and related to Apdex. It may include images or screen shots of your product but may not be a sales pitch. For example your presentation may not include pricing information.
- You can have your product or service reviewed for conformance to the Apdex specification. If your product is found to provide the minimal functions of the Apdex methodology, then it will be certified as Apdex compliant. You will be able to use the phrase “Certified Apdex Compliant” in your marketing material. Certification is good for five years or until the product undergoes major revision.
Responsibilities
Your company will assign one person to represent your company as the voting member in the Apdex Alliance. This representative is expected to attend no more than 4 one-hour telephone conference meetings in a year.
